WHAT IS STICKER PRICE
What is Sticker Price?
The Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of any new car is designated as the Sticker Price and is required by law to be posted on any new vehicle. The sticker price should include the cost of the included options, the destination charge and any aftermarket costs added to the vehicle should be clearly marked as well.
To get the best deal possible on any new car purchase, begin your new car search through The Auto Dealers exclusive research materials. Find out what the MSRP through reviews links, as well as through our Kelley Blue Book Affiliate partner. You may also find out if the vehicle has manufacturer to dealer incentives, rebates or special financing offers to further increase your savings.
Some dealerships choose to advertise MSRPs that are not negotiable. These are hassle-free prices that are designed to make the buying process easier with less negotiation over the price.
Know about supply and demand for your desired vehicle before you walk into the dealership. Just like the new 2005 Ford Mustang, some vehicles will sell for MSRP or even higher!
